Version 2.1 — current Apple product
- Two new techniques: Cross-Stitch brings ordered Nonogram-style runs; Gingham brings Takuzu-style balance, adjacency, and line uniqueness.
- Eight techniques are live: Patchwork, Appliqué, Piecing, Stitchline, Rosette, Buttons, Cross-Stitch, and Gingham are presented by the current product listing.
- Seven Apple surfaces: Apple lists iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Vision, Apple TV, Apple Watch, and iMessage. App Clip is an embedded entry point rather than a separate storefront surface.
- Surface-specific details: iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro carry the eight-technique 2.1 experience; Apple TV and Apple Watch retain the limits stated in their platform guides.
- Core play offline: daily puzzles generate and play on-device. Purchases, Game Center, backup, and continuity use optional Apple services when connected.
Availability by Apple surface
Apple's current listing is the source of truth for the seven supported surfaces. The platform guide separates the shared eight-technique identity from each surface's controls, feature set, and continuity limits.
