How it plays here

The full eight-technique game, shaped for a window

Coverlet for Mac is the iOS app's Mac Catalyst destination, not a separate AppKit rewrite. That shared foundation keeps the puzzle engine, quilt, purchases, and product identity aligned. The presentation is tuned for desktop reality: a capped board instead of an endlessly growing grid, comfortable bottom spacing, and a compact tab structure that does not force a permanent sidebar into every window.

01

Pointer precision without tiny targets

Every board remains readable at a distance from the screen, while hover feedback and pointer interaction make cells and controls easier to acquire. Keyboard paths complement the pointer for repeated actions and navigation. The Mac layout avoids treating empty desktop space as an invitation to scatter controls; the board stays visually central.

02

Eight puzzle languages, one desktop ritual

Patchwork, Appliqué, Piecing, Stitchline, Rosette, Buttons, Cross-Stitch, and Gingham share the same daily product identity on Mac. Quiet, Steady, and Intricate sizes offer a short break or a longer desk-side solve, while archives, packs, palettes, and My Quilt preserve the sense that a completed board belongs somewhere.

03

What the Mac includes

The current Mac experience includes the full quilt, StoreKit unlocks, supported Game Center features, keyboard and pointer input, and a Mac widget. Live Activities remain an iPhone and iPad interaction, so the Mac page names that boundary instead of copying every mobile feature.

04

One product identity across Apple surfaces

The current App Store record lists Mac alongside iPhone, iPad, Apple Vision, Apple TV, Apple Watch, and iMessage. Coverlet 2.1 keeps the eight-technique product identity across those surfaces while each platform retains its own controls, layout, and feature limits.
